Veneers

Reset Decrease Increase
Veneers can improve your smile. Veneers are tin shells of porcelain or plastic. Veneers are bonded to teeth.
Veneers can improve the color and the shape of natural teeth.

A veneer generally covers only the front and top of a tooth.
Veneers can be used to close spaces between teeth, lengthen and smaller misshaped teeth.

Veneers can improve the aspect of stained and discolored teeth.
When teeth are chipped or beginning to wear, veneers can protect them from damage and restore their original looks.

It takes two or more appointments to restore teeth with veneers.
On the first appointment the teeth are shaped. The impressions help the dentist to make precise models of the teeth. Based on these models the veneers are artistically crafted to exactly fit the prepared teeth.

On the second appointment, the prepared teeth are cleaned and polished.
The veneers are then bonded to the teeth with an adhesive. A harmless high intensity light harnesses the adhesive.
Once in place, veneers virtually become part of the teeth. You can use them like you would use your own teeth. The bond is extremely strong.
The final result is beautiful and natural looking teeth.
