Endodontics
This speciality is commonly reffered to as "a root canal" that consists in removing the tissue (veins and nerves) that are found inside the tooth and then sealing the canals. This preserves the tooth while taking away the painful tissues.
It's necessary to get a root canal when you have deep cavities, abscesses (inflammation or infection), after traumas or fractures to the tooth, and in some cases a root canal is necessary before oral rehabilitation treatments.
